HOW TO PLAY
Play directly in the browser with mouse and keyboard shortcuts. The game is build to be played on PC (future release on Steam). It does not support mobile devices (touch inputs). For the best experience, play through Steam. But on a decent machine you should be able to play on web just fine. Enjoy the demo!
MADE BY 2 HUMANS: No AI!
Hi, Bob and Maarten here. We are a team of 2 developers and are actively developing Orebits to release on Steam. One of our goals is to create an incremental game with a lot of polish. We want to be clear about using AI: there is absolutely no AI in our game. The art is real and the voice-over is real.
ABOUT OREBITS
Bounce your pickaxe and smash through asteroids in this futuristic mining incremental! Explore a roguelite tech tree, discover gravitational anomalies, and deliver resources back to Earth. Upgrade and explore space to discover what secrets it holds!

- Mine asteroids to extract valuable resources using your trusty Clickaxe, Laser, and other mining gear.
- Explore different mining sites, each with its own anomalies and rare artifacts.

Made a video
Nice to see you guys play Orebits! Thanks for posting the video.
Very fun so far, but I am confused; after I cleared the three mining points on the first asteroid, there was nothing else to click on to continue on, no "End of Demo" message came up, so I naturally assumed I could move onto another asteroid, but there was no button I could readily see to click on to move to the next asteroid to continue on.
should be fixed now if you start a New Game.
cannot upgrade after 1st prestige
Hi, thanks for letting us know. To clarify your problem, do you mean that you cannot do Research with Research Points or buying upgrades in the Upgrade Tree with Ores? Would love to hear if this is a bug or if you didn't like the mechanics. Thanks for playing!
Not research, the upgrade tab. There should be 3 initial nodes that requires different ores, right? But after prestige all 3 nodes shows require 0 gold, but I can't buy any of them even if I have gold.
yes, there are 3 upgrade slots available and if you have enough common öres (blue, green, purple), you should be able to buy them. You cannot buy upgrades with gold.
When I hover the nodes I got
Have you played before ? Few mints back or our jam game?
We are 2 devs, who have been chipping away at Orebits every Friday for the past 18 months! So releasing the demo is a biiig milestone for us.
We would love to hear feedback, so we can make the final game the best it can be!
Thanks for playing,
Bob (dev) and Maarten (design/art)
